Malcolm’s Story Part 1

I believe we make our own luck in this world and that life is what we make it.

When I met Malcolm he was very much down on his ‘luck’, and, to a certain extent, blamed life for his own misfortunes. Don’t get me wrong, I felt for him – his life was not going well and to all intents and purposes it seemed as if he had been dealt a bad hand – but I got the impression that he felt mistreated by the universe.
